Why I Switched to a Bidet
That's right—I'm back with another bidet review.
Why? Because using a bidet genuinely changed my life. I'm saving trees, using less toilet paper, and, most importantly, keeping things a whole lot cleaner. If you don't already own a bidet, do yourself a favor and get one.
Today I'm installing the Sanyipace SU01B Smart Bidet. It's packed with premium features, and I'll walk you through the installation step by step before showing you everything it can do.
Let's get started.
Unboxing the Sanyipace SU01B
Who doesn't love a good unboxing?
Inside the package, I found everything needed for installation:
- The smart bidet seat
- Remote control
- Water filter
- Installation hardware
- Mounting brackets
- Screws and washers
- Batteries
- Aromatherapy tablets
- Cleaning brush
- Instruction manual
Honestly, you probably won't even need the manual—you've got me.
The toilet seat itself looks fantastic and feels very well made.
Why I Finally Bought a Bidet?
I'd love to know what you think about bidets.
I know they've been popular in Europe and Asia for years, but more and more people are finally discovering them here.
I started with flushable wipes, then upgraded to a bidet, and now there's no going back.
I recently went on vacation without one, and I actually missed it. That's when I realized how much I'd gotten used to having one.
You simply feel cleaner every time you use the bathroom. It's like taking a mini shower after every trip.
Even if you don't buy this particular model, get yourself a bidet. There are cheaper options available, but this one includes a lot of premium features that really make a difference.

Installing the Sanyipace SU01B
Step 1: Shut Off the Water
Start by turning off the toilet's water supply.
Have a towel or small bucket nearby because a little water will spill when disconnecting the supply line.
Step 2: Remove the Existing Toilet Seat
Remove your current toilet seat by loosening the mounting screws.
Depending on your toilet, things may be a little dirty underneath, so wearing gloves isn't a bad idea.
Step 3: Install the Water Tee and Filter
The kit includes everything required.
First, install the supplied T-valve onto the toilet's water supply.
Next, attach the included water filter.
Reconnect your existing water line to the bottom of the T-fitting and tighten everything securely.
The setup is straightforward and only takes a few minutes.
Step 4: Install the Mounting Plate
Insert the rubber expansion anchors into the mounting holes.
I originally grabbed a hammer because I wasn't sure they'd fit—but they actually went in pretty easily.
Next, install the mounting bracket using the supplied screws and washers.
Once tightened, the bracket feels extremely solid.
Step 5: Connect the Bidet
The water connection couldn't be easier.
Simply push the supplied hose into the quick-connect fittings until it clicks.
Connect the other end directly to the bidet seat.
No tools required. No leaks.

Step 6: Mount the Remote
The remote can either be screwed to the wall or attached using the included 3M adhesive pads.
Since I didn't feel like drilling into tile, I went with the adhesive.
I probably should've used a level...
I didn't.
It's maybe just a little crooked—but it'll do.
First Impressions
Once everything was connected, I turned the water back on.
Installation complete.
Time to prepare for a cleaner future.
Seriously, this thing feels like a spa treatment for your backside.
Heated Seat? Yes, Please.
I even grabbed my thermal camera to see how warm the heated seat actually gets.
The seat reached around 100°F, making those cold winter mornings a whole lot more comfortable.
No more sitting on an ice-cold toilet seat.
That's a feature I didn't know I needed until now.

Final Thoughts
After using the Sanyipace SU01B, I honestly don't want to go back.
Everything—from the heated seat to the warm water wash and heated dryer—makes the experience noticeably more comfortable.
It sounds funny to call it a "spa for your butt," but that's honestly what it feels like.
If you've been thinking about buying a bidet, I can absolutely recommend this one.
It's loaded with features, surprisingly easy to install, and genuinely improves everyday comfort and hygiene.
Highly recommended.
