This article is adapted from a YouTube review by Sophia from My Great Challenge and reflects her personal installation and first-hand experience with the SANYIPACE Aira Cearo SD03PRO Smart Toilet.
I never expected a toilet to become one of the more interesting products I had reviewed. After installing the SANYIPACE Aira SD03PRO Smart Toilet and using it for about a week, I changed my mind.
I grew up around bidets, so washing with water was already familiar to me. What was new was having warm-water washing, a heated seat, drying, automatic flushing, hands-free controls, and other smart functions built into one fixture.
Installation in my 1929 home was more difficult than I expected. Once the toilet was in place, though, several features that initially sounded optional quickly became part of my everyday routine.

Why I Wanted to Try a Smart Toilet
Bidets were already familiar to me, but I wanted to know whether a full smart toilet would make a noticeable difference in everyday use.
The SD03PRO brings washing, heating, drying, and automatic functions together in one fixture. After about a week, what stood out wasn't one dramatic feature. It was how several small conveniences worked together every time I used the bathroom.
Warm water, a heated seat, automatic flushing, and hands-free operation each sound simple on their own. Combined, they changed the experience much more than I expected.
Installing the SD03PRO in My 1929 Home
Installation was easily the most challenging part of my experience.
My home was built in 1929, and the plumbing is very different from what you would usually find in a newer bathroom. My water supply comes through the floor rather than through the wall, which meant I needed extra fittings, some adjustments to the existing plumbing, and careful placement of the water filter.

That distinction matters because most of my difficulty came from adapting a modern fixture to an older bathroom—not from learning how to use a smart toilet.
The toilet is also heavy, so I had help moving and positioning it. Before lowering it over the flange, I marked the mounting position with tape. That made alignment much easier once the mounting points were hidden from view.
One mounting screw was still difficult to access. Based on my experience, easier access to the mounting hardware would make installation more convenient.
I also waited several days before finishing around the base because I wanted to be certain there were no leaks. I checked repeatedly for moisture and found no leakage around the toilet.
If your bathroom has a more modern plumbing layout, I would expect the process to be considerably more straightforward than mine.

What Stood Out During Everyday Use
1. Continuous Warm Water
Continuous warm water was one of the first features I appreciated.
The SD03PRO heats water as it is used, so I didn't have to worry about a small supply of preheated water running out halfway through a wash. The temperature is adjustable, as is the water pressure.
That adjustability is especially helpful if you've never used a bidet before. You can start with lower pressure and gradually increase it rather than being surprised by a setting that feels too strong.
The warm-air dryer also has adjustable temperature settings. In our household, using the wash and drying functions together noticeably reduced the amount of toilet paper we used.

2. The Heated Seat
The heated seat proved more useful than I expected.
Its temperature can be adjusted or turned off, and the difference is especially noticeable during colder weather or nighttime bathroom visits.
A heated toilet seat sounds like a luxury you could easily live without. After using one every day, though, it becomes surprisingly easy to get used to.
3. Adjustable Washing and Dedicated Front Wash

The SD03PRO includes rear washing, feminine washing, oscillating washing, adjustable water pressure and temperature, and spray-position control.
What I appreciated most was being able to customize the wash rather than having everyone use the same setting.
The dedicated front wash also stood out to me. As a woman, I liked having an additional washing option specifically designed for front cleansing rather than relying only on the standard rear wash function.
4. Automatic Flushing and Hands-Free Controls
Automatic flushing became one of the most practical features in our household.
I have several people sharing this bathroom, and let's just say automatic flushing solves a very common household problem without anyone needing a reminder.
The toilet can also be flushed using the remote, controls on the unit, or foot activation, giving you several options depending on how you prefer to use it.
The automatic lid and foot controls further reduce how often you need to touch the toilet during normal use. These weren't the features I was most excited about before installation, but they quickly became some of the most convenient.

5. The Night Light
The night light is another small feature that proved more useful than I expected.
It provides enough visibility during nighttime bathroom visits without requiring a bright overhead light. In a bathroom like mine that I've been updating with a more contemporary look, the soft lighting also fits nicely with the overall design.
And yes, it can help with aim too.
Cleaning, Filtration, and Flushing
The SD03PRO includes a self-cleaning nozzle and UV sanitization as additional nozzle-care features.
That doesn't mean the toilet never needs cleaning. I still clean the seat, lid, ceramic, and exterior as part of my normal bathroom routine.
What these functions do is make care of the washing system more convenient between regular cleanings.
Because I have hard water, I also appreciated having filtration in the washing-water system. The filter still needs periodic maintenance or replacement, and it isn't a substitute for whole-home water treatment, but I liked having that extra layer built into the bidet system.
The flushing action itself was also interesting to watch. It begins with a swirling movement, followed by stronger jets and another final swirl.
Visually, I preferred the SD03PRO's integrated one-piece design to the traditional exposed-tank toilet I was used to. The cleaner profile works especially well with the contemporary direction of my bathroom renovation.

What Happens During a Power Outage?
This was one of the first practical questions my family raised.
Our area has experienced power outages lasting several days, so depending on an electric toilet naturally made us wonder what would happen if the electricity went out.
The SD03PRO includes a backup battery system for flushing, so the basic flushing function isn't completely dependent on household power.
We did not test how the system would perform through a prolonged outage, so I can't comment on extended real-world battery duration. But knowing there is a backup option for flushing gave us some reassurance.
What My Family Thought After Trying It
I also asked another member of the household for an opinion.
The first bidet experience was described as:
“Startling.”
Which, honestly, made me laugh.

For someone who has never used a bidet before, that reaction is understandable. Water suddenly appearing where you've spent your whole life expecting toilet paper takes a little getting used to.
After several days, though, the reaction became much more positive.
The biggest benefits were simple: using less toilet paper and feeling cleaner and more refreshed afterward.
After several days of use, my family member gave the toilet an A-minus.
I would give it an A-plus.
What I Liked Most—and What Could Be Better
After a week, the features I appreciated most were:
-
Continuous warm water
-
Heated seat
-
Adjustable water pressure and temperature
-
Warm-air drying
-
Dedicated front wash
-
Automatic flushing
-
Hands-free lid and foot controls
-
Night light
The main drawback was still the installation experience.
My older plumbing made the water connection more complicated, and positioning the toilet and accessing one of the mounting points took more effort than I expected.
That doesn't mean I wouldn't install it again.
It simply means anyone with an older home should check their water-supply location, outlet, and existing plumbing before installation rather than assuming the bathroom is already ready for a smart toilet.

Final Verdict: Would I Recommend the SANYIPACE SD03PRO?
After about a week of use, yes. Installation in my 1929 home definitely wasn't perfect, but once the SD03PRO was in place, it became very easy to live with.
The features I appreciated most—continuous warm water, a heated seat, adjustable washing, warm-air drying, automatic flushing, and hands-free controls—stopped feeling like extra technology after just a few days. They simply became part of the routine.
That's probably the biggest compliment I can give a smart-home product. I didn't have to think about the technology every time I used it; it just made an ordinary part of the day more comfortable and convenient. After living with the SD03PRO for a week, I also found myself curious to see what else SANYIPACE offers for the bathroom.
I didn't expect a toilet to become one of my favorite upgrades in the house, but I was already thinking about adding another one upstairs. Going back to a conventional toilet now feels like giving up a level of comfort I got used to surprisingly quickly.
If you're considering the same kind of upgrade, you can also explore SANYIPACE's other smart toilets to compare features, designs, and options for different bathrooms.
