Sanyipace SU01B Heated Toilet Seat Review: A Real Upgrade in Everyday Comfort

Table of Contents

This review article is based on a video by Nord Domotique, where the creator shares a hands-on test of the Sanyipace SU01B smart toilet seat. The original video covers the full experience—from unboxing and installation to real-life usage—providing practical insights and honest feedback after several days of use.

Today, we’re testing a device I haven’t yet featured on the channel, even though it’s one of those products that can truly improve daily life. We often talk about smart homes, connected devices, and comfort—but do we really think about toilet comfort?

Today, I’m testing a smart toilet seat from Anace. Trust me, this will significantly upgrade your home experience.

Hi everyone, this is David from Nord Domotique. Today, we’re stepping away from robot vacuums and smart cameras to focus on personal comfort. I’ll be testing an electric Japanese-style toilet seat from Sanyipace.

This model includes a heated seat, warm water washing, drying, automatic lid opening, and even an aroma function. But is it just a gimmick, or a genuine comfort upgrade? I’ll walk you through everything: unboxing, installation, and a full test.

Of course, I won’t demonstrate it by sitting on it 😄, but you’ll get complete feedback from the whole family.

Sanyipace Smart Toilet Seat Unboxing

Sanyipace Smart Toilet Seat Unboxing

Let’s start with the unboxing. As you can see, the product is well protected. Since this is a heated model, a power outlet is required in the bathroom.

I tested a similar heated seat over four years ago on my blog, before starting YouTube. This time, the goal is to present the product properly in video format.

Inside the box, we find:

  • The remote control

  • An anti-limescale filter (very important to install)

  • A mounting kit with screws

  • Water connectors

  • And, of course, the smart toilet seat itself

The plastic quality is solid, made from medical-grade polypropylene, which feels durable and reliable. The toilet seat also includes a sensor, integrated lighting with multiple modes, and side controls for water temperature and connections.

Install a New Smart Toilet Seat

Next, I’ll remove my old seat and install this one on a standard toilet.

I’ve already removed the previous seat, taken out the fittings, and shut off the water supply. Since I previously used a Japanese-style seat, a T-connector is already installed.

The installation process is straightforward:

  1. Install the T-connector (if not already present).

  2. Fix the mounting bracket using the provided kit.

  3. Place the base plate, ensuring correct orientation.

  4. Insert the metal brackets, screws, and washers.

Measurements are important: approximately 50 cm in length, with 11–19 cm between mounting holes. Make sure the plate is centered, and avoid tightening the screws completely until final adjustment.

Tip: Before installing the smart toilet seat, insert the aromatherapy tablet at the back. Registering the product online may also provide additional filters and tablets.

Finally, clip the seat onto the base plate. Once pushed into place, it locks securely.

Plumbing & Setup

Now comes the plumbing part, which may be slightly more technical.

If needed, install the T-connector. Then attach the anti-limescale filter cartridge underneath. This type of cartridge is similar to those used in refrigerators and typically lasts around six months, depending on water quality.

Next, connect the hose using the clip system. It snaps into place securely and can be removed by pressing the release ring.

Before turning the water back on, carefully check all connections. The unit also includes a built-in 10 mA circuit breaker for safety.

Plug in the device, test it, then restore the water supply.

Usage Experience

In daily use, the experience is impressive. As soon as you approach, the lid opens automatically—no contact needed, which improves hygiene.

The smart toilet seat offers three heating levels and warms up quickly.

Using the remote control, you can adjust:

  • Water temperature (34°C, 37°C, or 40°C)

  • Seat temperature

  • Air (drying) temperature

  • Cleaning functions

  • Nozzle self-cleaning

These features significantly enhance hygiene and comfort.

After 15 Days of Use

After two weeks of use, the results are clear:

  • Extremely comfortable

  • Significantly reduced toilet paper usage

  • Even guests find it impressive 😄

The unit also includes an eco mode to reduce energy consumption, along with safety features to prevent overheating.

While it does consume more energy than a standard toilet (due to water heating and electricity), the overall consumption remains reasonable.

One feature you quickly get used to is the automatic lid opening—it becomes second nature.

Additionally, the auto-cleaning mode ensures the nozzle is cleaned after each use, and the aromatherapy tablet adds a pleasant scent.

Conclusion

Installation is quick, and daily use is simple. The seat can also be controlled directly via side buttons, without the remote.

If you’re going on vacation, you can completely turn off the power supply.

That’s it for this test. I hope you found it helpful. Don’t forget to like the video and subscribe to the channel!
